CH 609LB - Ceramic-Hybrid, ABEC-5 radial bearing - (C3 Clearance) - 9mm x 24mm x 7mm - This ABEC-5, Ceramic-hybrid bearing features deep-groove design 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races, with Grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls, dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals to withstand the outside elements, and to contain the 90% fill Kluber NBU52 ultra-smooth and sticky, water-proof grease. Si3N4 ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing. This radial bearing has been used as a hub bearing by Mavic and as a pivot bearing though the MAX-type version of this bearing is better suited for suspension use.
